MSC and CMA CGM made their announcements on Saturday, a day after two more big shipping companies, Maersk and Hapag-Lloyd, took similar decisions.
The Yemeni armed forces have in recent weeks targeted Israeli-linked ships or any vessel heading for the occupied territories in the Red and Arabian seas.
Yemeni forces have also launched missile and drone strikes on Israeli positions.
They say the operations are aimed at putting pressure on the Israeli regime to stop its crimes against Palestinians in Gaza and lift its blockade of the territory.
On Saturday, a spokesman for Yemen’s Ansarullah Movement said that negotiations are underway with international parties about the Arab country’s operations in the Red and Arabian seas.
Abdul Salam said on his Telegram page that the negotiations, taking place under the supervision of Oman, emphasize Yemen’s position that Israeli ships or vessels that head to the regime’s ports will remain a target of Yemeni operations unless attacks on Gaza are stopped, its blockade is lifted and humanitarian assistance is constantly sent to the strip.
